The cabins sit on large, secluded plots with raised verandas and private gardens, plus a shared picnic area with BBQ facilities. Guests have access to free on-site parking and street parking, as well as laundry service and private check-in/check-out. The site is beachfront on Loch Awe and includes a children's playground, cycling routes, fishing spots, and hiking trails directly from the property.

The cabins are situated in an area of outstanding natural beauty, on the banks of Loch Awe near the village of Dalavich, created by the Forestry Commission. The surrounding forests, burns, rivers, castles, mountains, and lochs provide walks, cycle routes, and world-renowned angling. Wildlife such as Pine Marten, Red Squirrel, Osprey, Golden Eagle, Sea Eagle, and Red, Roe, and Sikka Deer can be seen nearby.
The on-site bar and restaurant are complemented by the Dalavich village cafe, which serves a full Scottish breakfast and lunch in a dog-friendly setting. The community bar (Dalavich social club) offers a friendly atmosphere with food and drinks. Both the cafe and bar are within a short walk from the cabins.
Families can use the on-site children's playground, borrow board games and puzzles from reception, and enjoy the large grassy areas for outdoor play. Pets are allowed in the cabins, with a grass area in front of some cabins ideal for dogs. The beachfront access to Loch Awe and the surrounding forest walks provide additional space for both children and pets to explore.
