Shieldaig Lodge occupies a 19th-century building on the shores of Loch Gairloch, one of the few remaining traditional Highland shooting lodges open to the public. The property has 12 rooms, including the Superior Double Room with Sea View and a suite with a bath overlooking the water. Some bathrooms have underfloor heating, and rooms come with views over the hills or the loch.
The hotel restaurant serves a full Scottish breakfast each morning and dinner as a 2- or 3-course menu or a 7-course tasting menu. The whisky bar offers whisky flights presented on an antler, alongside a gin selection and wines by the glass. Packed lunches are available for day trips, and special diet menus and kids' meals cover different dietary needs.
