The property offers 14 log cabins, each with a private bathroom, kitchen, and washing machine. Cabin 1 has a brand-new kitchen with a full-size fridge freezer, dishwasher, and an air fryer, plus a large corner sofa and a bigger TV. Lodge 4 includes a generous hot tub on a private deck, while all cabins now have air conditioning units in the living room and bedroom.
Directly outside the cabins, the Afan Valley mountain bike trails cater to riders of all abilities, with 5 trails from easy loops to challenging jumps in the bike park. The site has a children's playground with outdoor play equipment and a large terrace with tables and benches. A bicycle parking area is provided, and the garden gives access to forest footpaths for walking and running with dogs.
The café on site serves pub food and a bar with Welsh ales, plus unusual ice cream flavours for children. Tasha's Pizza Shack opens every Friday and Saturday for homemade pizzas, and a burger bar operates during camping season. A dining dome, heated and equipped with Alexa, is also available for bookings, serving a 16oz burger and char-grilled rump steak.
The lodge sits at the edge of Afan Forest Park, with no main roads nearby - only birdsong. Aberavon Beach, a sandy beach 15 minutes away by car, is accessible for swimming and kayaking. Margam Country Park and Swansea Marina are within a short drive, while the Grand Theatre is 22 km from the property.
