“Meadows Lodge strikes a note of quiet seclusion without feeling remote; the thoughtful touches from hosts James and Pandora, from practical directions to small kindnesses like fresh eggs, create a genuinely welcoming atmosphere. It's clear they've curated a space where comfort, like the good quality furnishings and fantastic shower, complements the serene garden setting and ease of access into York. I found the lodge thoughtfully appointed, a peaceful escape that feels both private and well-connected.”
