Birchbrae Highland Lodges offers 7 lodges with a Scandinavian style wooden exterior and warm contemporary interiors. Each lodge includes a fully fitted kitchen with a washing machine, oven, and hob, plus a spacious lounge with a home cinema TV system. The covered veranda provides a spot to watch red squirrels, rabbits, and roe deer in the surrounding woodland.
The bedrooms use neutral colours with contemporary beds and wooden fittings, and each lodge has 2 modern tiled bathrooms. A wheelchair accessible lodge is available with ramped access, a lower bathroom sink, raised toilet, and toilet grab rails. Allergy-free rooms, family rooms, and a designated smoking area are also offered on site.
The lodges sit half a mile from Loch Linnhe, with Fort William 8 miles north and Ben Nevis a 30-minute drive away. The Corran Ferry, a 5-minute walk from the lodges, is free for foot passengers and gives access to the mountainous Ardour area. Hiking trails, walks to Inchree Falls, and multiple golf courses are all within easy reach.
Dogs are welcome with pet bowls, treats, and blankets provided in each lodge, and poo bags are available. A £30 per dog per stay fee applies, and the surrounding woodland offers numerous dog-friendly walks. The property also supplies dog blankets and chewies for a comfortable stay.
The property provides accessible parking, an electric vehicle charging station, and a wheelchair accessible lodge with grab rails and a wet room. Guests can use express check-in/check-out, key access, and smoke alarms with fire extinguishers. Grocery deliveries can be arranged, and the site includes a picnic area and sun terrace.
