“The converted barn provides a remarkably spacious and characterful retreat, its vaulted beamed ceiling a definite highlight, all set within three acres of mature gardens. Its quiet rural location, surprisingly close to amenities and Heathrow, makes it a restful base, though the gardens themselves might benefit from a touch more tending. Still, the comfort of the bed and sofas, combined with the owner's helpfulness, makes for a very pleasant stay.”
