Set in the North Yorkshire Moors National Park, the cottages have views over Ryedale and the countryside. Dalby Forest and the seaside town of Whitby are 15 miles from the property. The Kirkbymoorside Golf Club is a 20-minute drive away, and National Trails for walking and cycling start from the doorstep.
Craven Garth Cottages are built with thick stone walls and individually designed interiors. The kitchens in the Bungalow and Three-Bedroom Cottage include an oven, ceramic hob, microwave, and fridge/freezer. High-chairs and stairgates are available upon request, and some cottages have a dishwasher or a washing machine.
The area offers rivers and lakes for fishing, and several golf courses are nearby. Scenic bike rides, horse riding, and walks along nearby National Trails are available from the property. Flamingo Land Resort is 16 miles away, and the remains of the Rosedale iron ore mining industry provide an interesting walk.
Family rooms are available, and some cottages welcome pets. The cottages are non-smoking, with a designated smoking area located outside. The communal garden offers outdoor furniture, a picnic area, and BBQ facilities; children can meet and pet the farm animals.
A welcome pack with fresh milk, bread, butter, orange juice, tea, coffee, and jams is provided on arrival. An electric vehicle charging station is available for guests. Log burners are prepared with kindling and logs for guests.
