5-star holiday home in Strontian with hot tub and games room
Bluebell Croft is a 5-star holiday home in Strontian set on a hillside croft with a garden, terrace, and picnic area. The property consists of two interconnected houses joined by a games room, offering a Four-Bedroom House and a Six-Bedroom House. A steep 50-metre hill leads from the road to the cottage, and on-site parking and an enclosed dog paddock are available.
The Six-Bedroom House and Four-Bedroom House can be booked together for groups of up to 14. The layout includes two kitchens, two living rooms, a sunroom, and four toilets, with bedrooms en suite and one walk-in shower. A second kitchen allows guests with dietary needs to prepare food away from contamination.
Bluebell Croft's large hot tub has views of the local hill scenery and stars at night. The property also offers a spa bath, a log burner, and home baking on arrival. The hot tub is spacious enough for most of a group of 11 to use at once.
Children at Bluebell Croft have an indoor play area, kids' outdoor play equipment, board games, puzzles, and baby safety gates. The croft has geese and lambs that children can feed. Dogs have an enclosed paddock, pet bowls, and washing supplies.
Bluebell Croft is 72 km from Oban Airport and a 20-minute walk from the sea front and a small shop. Fishing, hiking, cycling, and snorkelling are available nearby, along with mountain, river, and landmark views. The terrace, garden, picnic area, and BBQ facilities provide outdoor seating and cooking areas.
“The property strikes a rare balance, feeling both expansive and intimately homely, a quality that truly makes it stand out. Its design accommodates larger groups with surprising ease, ensuring everyone finds their own comfortable space, while thoughtful extras, like the well-appointed dog paddock, show a deep consideration for guests. The views from here are quite something, especially from the hot tub, which itself is a generous size for unwinding after a day exploring the landscape.”
Bluebell Croft offers a variety of rooms including double rooms, family rooms, and suites with breakfast, free cancelations, and special deals
